Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Position Summary
VenCare Health Solutions is seeking compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality in-home support to clients in the comfort of their homes. CNAs assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship while promoting independence, dignity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
Personal Care Assistance
• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Help with toileting and incontinence care
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Support clients with ambulation and fall prevention
Daily Living Support
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding if needed
• Help with light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying living areas
• Provide medication reminders (no administration unless authorized)
• Assist with errands and grocery shopping

Companion Care
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Engage clients in conversation and activities
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
Monitoring Client Well-being
• Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior
• Maintain accurate care notes and documentation
• Follow individualized care plans and agency guidelines
Qualifications
• Current South Carolina CNA Certification
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• CPR / First Aid certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Previous home care or senior care experience preferred

Key Responsibilities
Client Assessments and Care Planning

Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments

Evaluate client health status and care needs

Communicate with physicians, families, and care teams

Administer medications as prescribed (when applicable)

Caregiver Supervision

Provide clinical supervision of CNAs and PCAs

Documentation and Compliance

Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Ensure compliance with South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) regulations

Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs

Care Coordination

Communicate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications

PCAs help clients maintain independence, dignity, and comfort while remaining safely in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
Personal Care Assistance
• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Help with dressing and grooming
• Provide toileting and incontinence care
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Support clients with ambulation and fall prevention
